In these anxious times many of us are not sleeping well, but did you know that massage may help with sleep problems?
In a 2018 study, 40 patients due to have surgery for colorectal cancer received back massage with lavender oil for 10 minutes the night before their operation, and 10 minutes the next morning. 40 more patients received no massage. The patients who received massage had less anxiety and slept better before their operation than the patients who did not.
