A thorough consultation is carried out before your blemish removal.  We will discuss what your expectations are, what the process involves and what the outcome is likely to be.  You will have the chance to ask any questions. You may be asked to have a patch test to test your skin's reaction, and to return for treatment another day. Some medical conditions and skin types will make you unsuitable for treatment. If this is the case you will not be charged.

Blemish removal is carried out using advanced electrolysis techniques.  This means that a very fine needle with an electric current is used. This causes a mild, stinging sensation but should not be painful.  It is normal to have some redness around the area after treatment, which will fade in a few hours. When you book for blemish removal you are paying for a time period.  During that time, as many blemishes will be removed as possible.  Some blemishes (eg cherry angiomas) may take a second treatment.

Aftercare is extremely important to get the best results.  You will be given plenty of advice about how to take care of yourself after the procedure. Full healing takes 2 weeks so please factor this in when booking an appointment. The treated area may be itchy and dry as it heals. You will  need to avoid sunbeds, saunas and hot tubs for a few days while healing and it is really important that you do so. Atercare advice will be given to you.
