NEW CLIENT DEPOSIT POLICY:

ALL new clients are asked to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit up front to secure their first booking. The balance may be paid at your appointment.  Please pay online where possible.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please give 24 hours’ notice. This allows your appointment to be offered to someone else. Late cancellations and failures to attend will be charged at full price.  

If Hyfryd Holistic Therapies need to cancel or change your appointment due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, any paid deposits will be carried over or refunded, and gift vouchers will be honoured. 

APPOINTMENT REMINDERS:

You will receive a text message, whatsapp or email to remind you that your appointment is due. Please let us know if you prefer to receive this reminder by email. This is a courtesy service and non-receipt of the message due to network failure or other technical issues is not accepted as a reason for not keeping an appointment. 

DISCOUNT:

Times are hard and Hyfryd Holistic recognises that complementary therapies may seem like a luxury. Nevertheless, investing in your health and wellbeing is important. Please keep an eye out on social media and subscribe to our newsletter to find out about our special offers.  Block bookings are eligible for a discount. Please see our price list for more information.

GIFT VOUCHERS:

Gift Vouchers can be purchased to any value and will only be valid until the date stated on the voucher. If your appointment request cannot be accommodated during the valid time, the voucher expiry date may be extended at the discretion of the therapist. 

INTRODUCTORY AND SPECIAL OFFERS

No cash alternative is offered on any special offer voucher. Only one voucher is accepted per customer. Vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Hyfryd Holistic Therapies reserves the right to refuse vouchers where all conditions are not adhered to.

PAYMENT TERMS:

Cash or bank transfer.

SICKNESS:

You will be asked before attending about any possible Covid-19 symptoms. If you are unwell for any other reason, please let us know so that we can reschedule your appointment. 

LATENESS:

If you are running late for your appointment, please let your therapist know as soon as possible. We reserve the right to shorten your treatment time if there is a client booked in after you, to ensure others are not affected. On the rare occasion that your therapist is running late, you will still have your full treatment time.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY:

Hyfryd Holistic Therapies aims to minimise waste by actively promoting recycling and by using recycled materials and products wherever possible. We attempt to source essential oils and products that minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution, and to ensure that our oils in particular come from sustainable sources. We do not knowingly use oils from threatened, endangered or at-risk species of plants, and we store and conserve our oils carefully to minimise waste. We recognise that there is always more that we could be doing to conserve our environment and we are open to learning. 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: 

We encourage the use of public transport wherever appropriate. Hyfryd Holistic Therapies is a stone’s throw from Briton Ferry railway station. Please see www.traveline.cymru for details of buses.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY INTIMATE AREAS OF YOUR BODY BE EXPOSED OR TREATED, OR ANY REQUESTS FOR SEXUAL SERVICES AGREED TO:

Your therapist will refuse all requests to treat clients who wish to be naked and your session may be terminated if it appears to the therapist that you have a sexual motivation. Please do not ask for a happy ending, as you may be reported. 

CAR PARKING:

There is space at the back of 2b Brynhyfryd Road for car parking, or space on the road directly outside.

Hyfryd Holistic Therapies asks that you answer all questions relating to your medical history and lifestyle correctly and to the best of your ability, disclosing to the therapist any condition you have that would contraindicate treatment. Complementary therapists neither diagnose nor prescribe for disease conditions and cannot replace the advice of a doctor or other qualified medical professional. All clients are encouraged to seek competent medical help when necessary. Clients presenting with a condition beyond the scope of complementary therapy will be advised about appropriate avenues of help. Aftercare advice is provided in both verbal and written format, for education and information, and should be used at your own risk.
